**The court is conducting all hearings in-person**

Effective immediately Justice Court Precinct Four is moving to implement a preferred filing method!  Justice Court Precinct Four’s preferred filing method moving forward is E-File for all cases.  Paper case filings will be accepted but strongly discouraged.

On November 1, 2019, the Court officially designated all electronic court documents as the official Court record.

All Pro Se litigants (parties not represented by an attorney) and attorneys will be strongly advised to submit new evictions, small claims, debt claims, subsequent case filings and any other response pleadings via E-File Texas Self Help or E-file Texas.

Any litigant not having online computer capabilities will have access to the computer kiosk in the Justice Court office. Any cases not accepted by E-File Texas Self-Help or E-File Texas will have to be submitted in person.

    File your case online

For your convenience we now offer two ways to eFile:

    1. Use eFileTexas Self-help to file new cases for small claim and eviction cases. Simply answer a series of questions to help prepare and file your court forms online.

    2. Use eFileTexas to file new cases and add additional documents to existing small claim, eviction, debt claim, along with other types of cases. This service does not provide a step-by-step guide as eFileTexas self-help. Documents have to be scanned into the program before filing.

Additional information on how to file your case online.

Appeals will not be accepted through eFile at this time.
