Nov 9 - As of Friday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m., the Texas Rent Relief Program (TRR), the State of Texas’ rental assistance program, stopped accepting applications. However, Tarrant County’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), along with programs administered by the cities of Arlington and Fort Worth, will continue to accept applications for assistance and sufficient funding is available to those who qualify. Nov 3 - Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, Comirnaty, for children ages 5 to 11 years old is now available in Tarrant County. Parents and legal guardians should first talk to their pediatrician or local pharmacy to obtain their vaccination. Tarrant County Public Health will also be offering the children’s vaccine for those who cannot obtain it elsewhere.
