The Tarrant County Administrator is appointed by the Commissioners Court. The Administrator and his staff oversee and implement the directives of the Commissioners Court.
The Administrator's staff consists of the Assistant County Administrator, Assistant County Administrator for Governmental Affairs, Criminal Justice Coordinator, Digital Media Manager, Economic Development Coordinator, Emergency Management Officer, Grants Coordinator, Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Mobility Coordinator, Public Information Officer, Strategic Initiatives Manager and the HIV Administrative Agency.
The Administrator serves as the County's Chief Administrative Officer and supervises various county departments including: Budget and Risk Management, Community Development and Housing, Facilities Management, Fire Marshal, Human Resources, Human Services, Information Technology, Medical Examiner, Public Health, Resource Connection, Texas AgriLife Extension, Transportation and the Law Library.
