    Oct 22 - We've wrapped up the first week of Early Voting here in Tarrant County and as you’ve heard or personally experienced as you stood in line, we’ve seen a record number of voters show up to the polls - particularly here in Precinct 2.

    County Test Site Coming to Arlington, NEW Assistance Programs

    Jun 9 - During last week’s Commissioners Court meeting the Court approved the addition of a site for COVID-19 testing in or around the 76010 zip code area in Southeast Tarrant County. The County Administrator will begin negotiations with Catalyst Health Network for testing services at this site. This effort has been a priority of Commissioner Allen’s and in direct response to the expressed needs of our community.

    May 29 - During this pandemic each of us has perhaps experienced inconvenience or discomfort. Some of us are enduring all out suffering and significant loss; of life, income, and other critical resources. Growing up, and for many reasons I won’t share right now, I became well acquainted with loss and going without. I still remember the anxiety of wondering if there would be enough food or food at all. I remember the physical discomfort of being hungry for longer than the next meal or going hungry for the next day or series of days even.
