    SMALL BUSINESS WORKFORCE ASSISTANCE: APPLICATION OPENS JULY 11, 2022 AT NOON

    Tarrant County Small Business Workforce Recovery Grant is designed to provide financial assistance to impacted small businesses whose workforce has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds awarded will aid in workforce recovery, retention, recruitment, training and development. 

    Business Grant Eligibility

    • Must qualify as an Impacted Industry as defined by the U.S. Treasury and adopted by Commissioners Court.
    • Must be physically located and operating in Tarrant County since January 1, 2020.
    • Must have had 50 or fewer employees as reported on 1st Quarter 2020 Form 941.
    • Owners of multiple businesses are only eligible to apply for ONE business. All owners must be disclosed within the application.
    • Grant amounts up to $27,500 for qualifying non-profit and for-profit businesses.
    • Deadline to apply August 31, 2022 at 5 p.m. or until funds are depleted.

    The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) provides Child Care Relief Funds (CCRF) to help child care business build back strong and thrive in the post-pandemic economy. Child Care Relief Funds are for expenses necessary to maintain or resume operation of your program, including for fixed costs and increased operating expenses

    Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness

    The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness was established by the federal government to assist the burrowers (private organizations, including businesses and nonprofits) of PPP loans through full loan forgiveness.

    Economic Injury Disaster Loan Programs

    The Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program was established by the federal government to provide financial assistance to small businesses and private nonprofits. Financial assistance includes loans and grants.

    TCPH Vaccination Sign-UP

    Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) created a website to assist community members in navigating information related to COVID-19 vaccinations including the county’s vaccine locator tool to assist in scheduling an appointment.
