Childcare assistance is available to eligible community members through Tarrant County Child Care Management Services (CCMS). The organization has established Service Industry Recovery (SIR) Child Care to assist service industry workers in re-entering the workforce.
The City of Arlington’s Housing Choice Voucher Program provides rental assistance to eligible low-income persons, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Applications for the program may be submitted during the open enrollment period. Applications will be stored on a waitlist and will be selected once funding is available. The City of Arlington’s Emergency Housing Voucher Program is providing 89 vouchers to assist individuals and families who live in Arlington that are: homeless, at risk of homelessness, fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking, or were recently homeless or have a high risk of housing instability, and/or otherwise meet income and other eligibility criteria.
Utility Bill Payment Assistance offered by The City of Fort Worth's Community Action Partners (CAP) provides utility (electric, gas, or propane) assistance to families with low or fixed household incomes who reside in Tarrant County. Assistance is provided to residents in order to avoid disruptions.
The SBA offers disaster assistance in the form of low-interest loans for homeowners and renters if they have experienced damage to their homes or personal property during the severe storms and flooding that occurred on August 22 -25, 2022
