    Affordable Housing Development (Now requesting Proposals)

    Tarrant County is requesting proposals for affordable housing to address a shortage of available units and an increase in demand resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Tarrant County Commissioners Court allocated  $32.5 million to increase the number of affordable housing units for people experiencing homelessness.

    Prime Early Learning Program Pilot

    Child Care Associates (CCA) is soliciting applications from eligible child care and early learning program centers and providers that are Texas Rising Star Four-Star (TRS 4-star) certified in Tarrant County, Texas to participate in a grant funded, pilot program to enhance quality child care to low-income children through grants that will pay for certain quality and whole child support expenses. 

     

     

    Child Care Relief Funds

    The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) provides Child Care Relief Funds (CCRF) to help child care businesses build back strong and thrive in the post-pandemic economy. Child Care Relief Funds are for expenses necessary to maintain or resume the operation of your program, including fixed costs and increased operating expense

    Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness

    The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Forgiveness was established by the federal government to assist the burrowers (private organizations, including businesses and nonprofits) of PPP loans through full loan forgiveness.

    Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program

    The Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program was established by the federal government to provide financial assistance to small businesses and private nonprofits. Financial assistance includes loans and grants.

    SBA Debt Relief Program

    SBA Debt Relief Program provides additional information related to debt relief opportunities for existing Small Business Association (SBA) loan borrowers who have been impacted by COVID-19.

     SBA Disaster Assistance

    The SBA offers disaster assistance in the form of low-interest loans to businesses located in areas affected by severe storms and flooding that occurred on August 22-25, 2022. SBA also provides eligible businesses with working capital to help overcome the economic injury of a declared disaster.
