    Mission Statement

The overall goal of the Justice of the Peace office is to maximize the effectiveness of the court's processes, structure and operations to support customer-oriented and efficient services.

Our philosopy of teamwork and collaboration is anchored in our shared values.

Accountability - We accept responsibility for the decisions we make and the actions we take in our daily interaction with the public.

Compassion - We treat each person we serve and each other in a kind and caring manner. From the judge to the court clerks, a "can do" attitude is evident in our office.

Integrity - We act consistently with our values and the highest ethical standards. Each visitor to the JP office is given the highest priority in their dealings with our court.

Leadership - We engage, motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals through example, vision and commitment.

    Judge Woodard:
It was a pleasure to meet you this morning.  I would like to compliment your staff.  They were one of the nicest and most helpful court staffs I have dealt with.
    John M., Attorney

    Hi Karen,
I spoke with you earlier this morning. Thank you so much for your exceptional customer service. I have reviewed the values of Judge Lisa Woodard and her commitment to customer service, and you represent her very well.
    Thank you so much!
    Walter Downs
