Health Observances

August is National Immunization Awareness Month. Parents of children needing immunizations for school can take advantage of several "back to school shots" events this month. Our public health centers also provide these immunizations. Call the one nearest you for immunization hours. For more information about the National Immunization Program, visit the vaccines web page on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.
