Benefit Programs for Veterans

VA Guaranteed Home Loans

The Veterans Administration offers home loan guarantees for eligible veterans that may result in lower interest rates and loan origination and closing costs. The veteran is required to submit an "Eligibility Certificate" issued by the DVA to the lending institution to verify eligibility for the loan guarantee. Eligibility Certificate applications are available by mail from the Veterans Service Office by calling (817) 531-5645 and requesting the forms. The completed application and a copy of the veterans DD-214 (Discharge Certificate) must be sent to the DVA Loan Processing Center who will issue the certificate.
