Welcome to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office Operational Bureau. The Operations Bureau consists of five major divisions and approximately 450 employees. As Executive Chief Deputy of Operations, I encourage you to contact any of the divisions listed below to assist you with questions concerning our operations. A Chief Deputy administers each division, and is accessible by phone or e-mail.
The Patrol Division handles citizen’s calls for assistance in a 100 square mile area of unincorporated Tarrant County. With offices in the northern and southern parts of the County, the Patrol Division also includes:
- Livestock Enforcement Estray Program (LEEP)
- Mounted Unit
- Sheriff's Community Oriented Policing and Education (SCOPE)
- Sheriff's Enviromental Enforcement Division (SEED)
The Patrol Division also provides law enforcement services on a contract basis for the cities of:

- Internal Affairs
- Narcotics
- Sex Offender Registration
- Victim's Assistance
- Warrants
The Recruiting and Training Division is located at 1500 Circle Drive Suite 200, Fort Worth, Tx.
The Courts and Security Division is responsible for providing bailiffs for sixty courtrooms and security at seven County facilities. This Division also operates the Labor Detail program (for community service ordered by the Courts) from the Cold Springs Correction Facility.
