The Sheriff's Office regulates Alarm Permits for unincorporated Tarrant County. The alarm permits are issued by the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office. Permits are valid for one (1) year from date of issue. Permit fees are $25.00.

After application and fee have been processed, a copy of your application with your permit number will be mailed to you. It is the permit holders responsibility to provide permit number to their alarm and/or monitoring company.
