Question 12: What happens if I did not receive a renewal notice?

You do not need a renewal notice to renew your motor vehicle registration online or in person at any of our eight locations, but you must bring your license plate number or the vehicle identification number.  The vehicle identification number can be found on your proof of insurance.  Be sure to bring current proof of insurance and an acceptable form of ID.   Other locations such as grocery stores do require a renewal notice and you can only renew your registration at these locations if it is current or past due by no more than one month.  Proof of current liability insurance is required of all renewals except trailers.
