    Summary: While Dalworthington Gardens now blends in as part of the Metroplex between Fort Worth and Arlington. It has a unique history that begins during the Great Depression. This collection, as well as other items in the Tarrant County Archives Subject Files, offers a glimpse into the history of a community that began as a "New Deal" "Subsistence Homestead Program" on November 23, 1933.
