    Colleyville Historical Preservation Committee

Summary: The Colleyville  Historical Preservation Committee and the Colleyville Sesquicentennial Book Committee donated copies of a book they published in limited edition. The book draws attention to the few remaining historic structures, such as the Bidault House (image shown), a one-story home located at 1416 Glade Road, which is the only residential structure in Colleyville with a Texas Historical Marker. Anthelm Bidault (1862-1951) purchased his 58-acre plot in what is now Colleyville for $500 in 1897. The family lived in a two-room log cabin on the property while building their concrete home.
