First Positive West Nile Virus Mosquito Pool Sample in Tarrant County
(Tarrant County, Texas) . Today, Tarrant County Public Health announced the county's first mosquito pool sample that tested positive for West Nile virus. The sample was collected in the city of Grapevine. According to city officials, Grapevine plans to spray.
To date, 1,430 samples have been collected this season. Last year, Tarrant County reported its first mosquito pool positive on June 4.
