    Tarrant County distributes mosquito repellent to senior citizens, homeless and low-income residents

     

    WHAT: Tarrant County Medical Reserve Corps volunteers will be distributing OFF! insect repellent that was donated this week by SC Johnson.

     

    WHEN: Friday, Aug. 31, 2012

    DETAILS:

    Tarrant County Medical Reserve Corps volunteers will begin distributing 2,000 six-ounce cans of OFF! insect repellent donated by SC Johnson. Using insect repellent while outdoors is one of the important steps that individuals can take to protect themselves against West Nile virus. We are distributing OFF! Deep Woods Dry, which provides long-lasting protection against mosquitoes and is formulated to feel great on skin. It contains 25 percent DEET.
