Tarrant County distributes insect repellent to homeless shelter
WHAT: Tarrant County Public Health will distribute Cutterr Insect Repellent, donated by Spectrum Brands, to residents at The Salvation Army Shelter.

Spectrum Brands donated 5,000 six-ounce cans of Cutterr Insect Repellent. This donation helps Tarrant County provide insect repellent to low-income, the homeless and senior citizens. The repellent also will be provided to Meals on Wheels for their distribution to residents, and it will be distributed to some low-income housing developments. Using insect repellent while outdoors is one of the important steps that individuals can take to protect themselves against West Nile Virus.
