Since 1991 NACo has encouraged counties across the country to raise public awareness and understanding about the roles and responsibilities of counties.
NACo, the only national organization that represents county governments, is the voice of America's counties before Congress and the Administration. It works to improve the public's understanding of county government and assists member counties in finding and sharing innovative solutions through education and research. NACo provides value-added services to save counties and taxpayers money.
