Group B Strep (GBS), is the leading cause of sepsis and meningitis in newborns according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.) GBS can also infect babies during pregnancy and the first few months of life.
Diabetes and Eating Healthy. Learn about how to make healthy food choices and make a food plan that works with your diabetes management. Get some great ideas on what to eat, when to eat and how to plan your day. Whether you are pre-diabetic, recently diagnosed with diabetes or have been managing diabetes for a while, this class will be beneficial for you. The goal is to help participants take steps toward better health.
This class takes place Tuesday, June 21, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Dr. Marion J. Brooks Building, Tarrant County Public Health (corner of Rosedale and Main Street); 1101 S. Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76104.
