    New Year's Day

    2015   All Tarrant County Public Health offices and clinics will be closed on Thursday, January 1 in observance of the New Year's Day holiday.
         

    January is Cervical Health Awareness Month

     

    Public Health's Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program offers pap smears and other related services for uninsured or under insured women 18 and over.

    Conversations About Health / Platicas Sobre La Salud

    Tarrant County Public Health joins Tarrant County College and other healthcare agencies to present "Conversations About Health/Platicas Sobre La Salud" on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at the Trinity Valley Campus of Tarrant County College.

         

    FREE DIABETES CLASS:  Diabetes Medications

     

    On Tuesday, Jan. 20, Tarrant County Public Health hosts this free class on Diabetes Medications.  There are so many kinds of diabetes medications available today. What do they do, how do they work and when should you take them? You will find out about different medication options and more about the drugs you may be taking. This class will be taught by the UNTHSC School of Pharmacy.

    Whether you have pre-Diabetes, were recently diagnosed with diabetes or have been managing diabetes for a long time, you can benefit from attending this class.
