Adult Health Services offers walk-in syphilis and HIV testing at two locations in Tarrant County. Our testing and counseling sessions take approximately 30 minutes but can vary, depending on the individual's risk factors as well as the results of the tests. Results can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a week, depending on the type of testing requested. We also offer additional testing options for other STDs that are transmitted the same way as HIV and syphilis. All services/information follow federal HIPAA laws and are gathered and maintained in a secure and confidential manner. Records are only released with the client's written consent. Anonymous HIV testing is available. Please call 817-321-4800 with any questions regarding testing procedures and availability.
The majority of test results will be available within one week. However, your testing counselor will discuss the time frame for your specific HIV and syphilis tests with you during your visit. Please note that test results may take longer than expected if additional testing is required for your specimen.
