The Business Office was established to meet the increasing complexities of the day-to-day management of the business aspects of the Medical Examiner’s Office. The Business Manager and a Bookkeeper comprise the business office, which provides support for the financial aspects of the office including budget preparation and reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, personnel matters and other related fiscal issues. The Transportation of Human Remains contract is supervised by the Business Manager. In addition, the Business Office maintains an inventory of all supplies, computer hardware, office equipment, and scientific instruments and ensures all service warranties are current.
