Payment:

  • All case filings and payments accepted until 4 p.m. with the exception of appeals
  • We accept business checks written within 90 days. Checks should be made payable to: Justice Court, Precinct 1
  • Credit card payments are charged a three percent convenience fee in addition to the amount payable to the Court
  • We do not accept temporary checks and personal checks.

EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 10, 2017:
Justice Court One will no longer accept personal checks

All filings must be submitted via E-File.

Misdemeanors
 

Adult Defendants Only: Online payments are available only to criminal defendants age 17 and over, for criminal offenses committed after age 17.

Payment constitutes a plea of Nolo Contendere ("No Contest") [Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 27.14 (c): "In a misdemeanor case for which the maximum possible punishment is by fine only, payment of a fine or an amount accepted by the court constitutes a finding of guilty in open court as though a plea of nolo contendere had been entered by the defendant and constitutes a waiver of a jury trial in writing."].

  • We accept the full amount only.
  • Call the Clerk of the Court at 817-884-1395 for the exact amount to pay. Failure to do this could result in your payment being returned.
  • Internet transactions will be posted the day after entry.
  • If there has been a warrant issued for your arrest, it will not be recalled until the day after your payment is posted.
