The Tarrant County Archivist directs and provides for the daily operation of the Tarrant County Archives by maintaining the collection of County records, local historical collections and official records of the Tarrant County Historical Commission and making these available to the public.
The Archives houses more than 600 private collections as well as historical County records. Tours are available upon request. Watch for changing exhibits in the Archives.
Since the Archives are staffed by one person, it is always a good idea to call or email prior to visiting. The Archives are located on the 5th Floor of the Plaza Building, 200 Taylor Street, Fort Worth, TX 76196.
