Susan R. Howe, DVM, PhD, DABFT - Crime Laboratory Director

Dr. Howe received a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois, and a PhD in Toxicology from Texas A&M University. A forensic scientist since 1996, she is an active member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the International Association of Forensic Sciences, the Society of Forensic Toxicologists, and the Southwestern Association of Toxicologists. Dr. Howe is board certified in Forensic Toxicology by the American Board of Forensic Toxicology, and has published a number of scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of molecular toxicology.
