How payments can be made:

1. In Person: We accept cash, money orders, cashier's checks, Visa and Mastercard at the office between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, except on County holidays.

No personal checks will be accepted.

3. By Phone or Internet: Adult Defendants Only: Telephone and On-line payment are available only to criminal defendants aged 17 and over, for criminal offenses committed after age 17.  All Juvenile defendants under age 17 and minors over age 17 charged with Alcohol, Tobacco and Failure to Attend School offenses must make a personal appearance in court with a parent of legal guardian. Payment constitutes a plea of Nolo Contendere ("No Contest") [Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 27.14 (c): "In a misdemeanor case for which the maximum possible punishment is by fine only, payment of a fine or an amount accepted by the court constitutes a finding of guilty in open court as though a plea of nolo contendere had been entered by the defendant and constitutes a waiver of a jury trial in writing."].  We accept Visa and Mastercard payments over the Internet, or by phone for payment of the full amount only, at 1-866-549-1010.

When paying by Internet, you must first call the Clerk of the Court at 817-473-5101 for the exact amount to pay and the appropriate reference to enter into the credit card payment screens.

Failure to do this
could result in your payment being returned.

Note:

  • Credit card payments are charged a 3% convenience fee in addition to the amount payable to the Court.

  • Phone and Internet transactions will be posted the day after entry.

  • If there has been a warrant issued for your arrest, it will not be recalled until the day after your payment is posted.
