Tarrant County Historical Commission Programs

The Commission is involved in many historic preservations efforts that include assistance with archaeological studies and environmental impact assessments and the promotion of historic appreciation throughout the county. It also provides programs to schools and service organizations in the area through its Speakers Bureau. The work of the Commission is a continuous survey; and ongoing effort to recognize, publicize and preserve the colorful history of the county.
