Nutients and Health Benefits:  Mangos are a great source of dietary fiber that helps with digestion and the prevention of constipation.  Mangos are an excellent source of vitamin A and flavonoids like beta-carotene and alpha-carotene which are known to have antioxidant properties and are essential for vision and healthy mucus membranes and skin. This fruit is a very rich source of potassium that helps control heart rate and blood pressure. The vitamin C in mangos help the body develop resistance against infections.  The copper and other minerals in mangos help with red blood cell development.

Nutrients and Health Benefits:  Onions provide dietary fiber which is helpful to the gastrointestinal system.  The vitamins C and B6 are helpful in repairing cells of the body.  Onions contain a variety of other naturally occurring chemicals known as organosulfur compounds that have been linked to lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
