The Bioterrorism Response and Emerging Agents (BREA) section of The North Texas Regional Laboratory is dedicated to providing culture based and rapid molecular assays to test for agents of bioterrorism. The laboratory is also committed to the surveillance, testing and assay development of emerging agents such as The section provides services to a 33 county region of North Texas.
