Assignments or Transfers of Liens

To obtain and Assignment or Transfer of Lien send $7.00 by cashier's check, money order, or business check made payable to the Tarrant County Clerk. A copy of the assignment is the best source of information when making request, even if it is a unrecorded copy.

Please include the following with your request:

  • Full Name of Assignor
  • Full Name of Assignee
  • Recording Date of Assignment
  • Legal Description
  • Volume and Page of Deed of Trust

  • Recording Information of Assignment

Note: We will need the complete name of the assignor AND assignee, as well as the file date of the assignment.
