**** Beginning with the January, 2009, (1-6-2009), sale we will post the monthly sales results on the delinquent tax sales link at the bottom of this page. Cause numbers will be notated as “withdrawn”, “struck off” or “sold”. This information will remain available for 45 days following each monthly sale. After 45 days, the link will no longer be available. ****
**** Specifics such as the amount of the sale or the purchaser’s name are obtainable at the downtown courthouse after the deeds have been filed. ****
**** Beginning with the September 2007 sale, 9-4-07, we will only accept the following forms of payment: cash, cashier checks, and money orders. It is strongly recommended that purchasers bring cashiers checks of varied denominations and some cash because we will accept exact funds only. All money orders or checks should be made out to Constable Darrell Huffman. ****
**** Bidders’ authorization sheets should be obtained prior to the sale- purchasers without these authorizations should be aware that their deeds will be delayed until such time as these documents are provided. ****

PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY.
- An officer conducting a sale of real property under this subchapter may not execute or deliver a deed to the purchaser of the property unless the purchaser exhibits to the officer an unexpired written statement issued to the person in the manner prescribed by Section 34.015, Tax Code, showing that the county assessor-collector of the county in which the sale is conducted has determined that:
- there are no delinquent ad valorem taxes owed by the person to that county; and
- for each school district or municipality having territory in the county there are no known or reported delinquent ad valorem taxes owed by the person to that school district or municipality.
- An individual may not bid on or purchase the property in the name of any other individual. An officer conducting a sale under this subchapter may not execute a deed in the name of or deliver a deed to any person other than the person who was the successful bidder.
- The deed executed by the officer conducting the sale must name the successful bidder as the grantee and recite that the successful bidder exhibited to that officer an unexpired written statement issued to the person in the manner prescribed by Section 34.015, Tax Code, showing that the county assessor-collector of the county in which the sale was conducted determined that:
- there are no delinquent ad valorem taxes owed by the person to that county; and
- for each school district or municipality having territory in the county there are no known or reported delinquent ad valorem taxes owed by the person to that school district or municipality.
- If a deed contains the recital required by Subsection
- it is conclusively presumed that this section was complied with.
- A person who knowingly violates this section commits an offense. An offense under this subsection is a Class B misdemeanor.
- To the extent of a conflict between this section and any other law, this section controls.
Bidder Authorization Notice
Persons who purchase Real Property on or after October 1, 2003, will be required to furnish the Officers conducting the sale a copy of the written authorization from the Tarrant County Tax Assessor Collectors Office prior to a constables Deed being issued.
To obtain this authorization you must go to the Tarrant County Tax Assessor Collectors Office 100 E Weatherford St. Fort Worth, Texas, Tarrant County Administration Building, first floor. There will be a cost of $10.00 to cover the cost of issuing the Statement. For Information about this process Contact the Tax Assessor Collectors Office at 817-884-1186.
The amount of time required to obtain the statement will be approximately two (2) weeks, from request to issuance.
BY VIRTUE OF ORDERS OF SALE ISSUED OUT OF THE COURTS IN THE CAUSE NUMBERS INDICATED, THE FOLLOWING REAL PROPERTIES ARE TO BE SOLD AT THE CONSTABLE'S SALE AT APPROXIMATELY 10:00 A.M. IN THE MORNING ON THE FIRST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH.
